2009-4-7: myweather.net advised me they don't like my little free gadget to be called myWeather - so for now it's theWEATHER until come up with better name / close the gadget :)

MyWeather, LLC objects to your use of the trademark "MYWEATHER".
MyWeather, has engaged in business throughout the United States under its federally registered and common law trade mark “MYWEATHER” and has used that mark on a continuous basis since at least January, 1999. Furthermore, we are the owner of federal Trademark Registration No. 2,779,931 for the mark “MYWEATHER” in Class 42 for use in connection with “providing weather-related information via the internet.”
It has come to my attention that you are currently engaged in business using the MYWEATHER mark to provide weather-related information via the internet. Your use will almost certainly create a likelihood of confusion in the trade and among the consuming public.
MyWeather provides unique, patented weather content and applications that enhance the success of consumer and business sites. By virtue of its registration and its longstanding registered and common law use of the mark “MYWEATHER,” and in view of our rights in this mark, we demand that you immediately terminate your unauthorized use of the name “MYWEATHER.” We also request that you immediately cease the dissemination, distribution, sale or offer of sale, of any materials or services which include the aforementioned designation and to forebear from their use in the future and to select and alternative mark which is clearly free from any objection.
We have no desire to become involved in a controversy or to cause any unnecessary expense, but consistent with our duty to protect the integrity of our federal registration, we intend to preserve our trademark rights and the mark “MYWEATHER” from any likelihood of confusion in corresponding infringement. If you would like to explore the possibility of licensing our brand and/or services, please let me know.
Because of the importance of this matter, we must insist on receiving a response to this letter no later than 15 (fifteen) days from the above date so that we can properly determine an appropriate course of action.

2008-11-19: Site moved away from GoDaddy - things should be getting back to normal with better company and with better dedicated server. On side note - if you need something more than basic, wouldn't recommend their shared or virtual dedicated hosting :|
